Adelaide Downham

Adelaide supports the efficiency of grantmaking processes and systems within the Programs department, for grantees and applicants, and provides assistance at multiple stages of the grants lifecycle. As an often first point-of-contact for grantees and partner to program colleagues, Adelaide is well-versed in the foundation’s funding and priority areas as well as best practices in grantmaking, data management, and compliance. Prior to working with the Programs team, Adelaide served on the Development team at the Foundation, upholding excellent customer service for Donor-Advisors, and supporting a myriad of special projects within the realm of fundraising. Prior to working at the Greater New Orleans Foundation, Adelaide worked within the nonprofit sector in both Providence, Rhode Island and Brooklyn, New York. She is a member of PEAK Grantmaking and Funders for LGBTQ Issues, and works to ensure that nonprofit partners are supported in living their mission.
