11th Annual GiveNOLA Day to Take Place May 7, 2024

New Orleans (April 16, 2024) – Today, the Greater New Orleans Foundation (Foundation) announced that the 11th annual GiveNOLA Day, a 24-hour online giving event for the thirteen-parish Greater New Orleans Region will take place Tuesday, May 7. GiveNOLA Day 2024 is hosted by Baptist Community Ministries (BCM) and powered by Entergy.
GiveNOLA Day has become a cornerstone of community spirit, drawing widespread participation and support from individuals, businesses, and civic leaders alike. During a press conference announcing GiveNOLA Day, Foundation leadership was joined by government officials, key sponsors, and local nonprofits who shared the real impact that GiveNOLA Day has in strengthening our region. We invite everyone to help bring the energy and generosity to help keep our communities thriving by giving on GiveNOLA Day.”

Although the official event is May 7, early giving begins Tuesday, April 23. Donors can visit GiveNOLA.org to choose from over 960 nonprofits.
GiveNOLA Day provides support for 900+ regional nonprofits in the thirteen-parish region (Orleans, Jefferson, St. Tammany, St. Bernard, Plaquemines, Lafourche, Terrebonne, Assumption, St. Charles, St. James, St. John the Baptist, Tangipahoa, and Washington Parishes). These participating nonprofits work on a broad range of issues, including arts & culture, animal welfare, community improvement, education, environment, health, housing, human services, public safety & crime prevention, and youth development.
