While the final numbers won’t be in for several weeks, initial returns indicate that the Greater New Orleans Foundation’s GiveNOLA Day generated an incredible $4 million in online contributions for 571 nonprofits, exceeding its 2014 total of $2.2 million by $1.8 million.
