Due to inclement weather forecasted for Tuesday, January 28, the Board Governance 101 class has been canceled. Check back with our Organizational Effectiveness section for more information.
Presented in conjunction with the Louisiana Association of Nonprofits (LANO), Board Governance 101 covers the basics all nonprofit leaders need to know about good governance including board member roles and responsibilities. Participants will receive tools and sample policies on proven practices that increase board engagement and accountability. This workshop is restricted to executive directors and board members. - The Board of Directors legal, ethical, and ethical duties
- The important roles and responsibilities to include in a board member job description
- How to foster greater board engagement and accountability
