Presented in conjunction with The Funding Seed, Fundraising 101 helps participants understand and then apply the steps necessary to be successful in fundraising for their organizations. Participants will learn the practice in fund development planning and receive a tool-kit with fundraising tools and worksheets. This workshop is open to executive directors, program and development staff, and board members. We strongly encourage organizational teams comprised of a staff member and a board member participate in the workshop together. In this session, you will learn:
- How to develop a diversified fund development plan
- The pros and cons of the typical fundraising methods
- How to engage board members and volunteers in fund development
The Board of Directors role and responsibility in fund development will also be addressed. Fundraising 101 workshop is on Tuesday, February 11, 2014from 8:30 am-12:30 pm at the Greater New Orleans located at 1055 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, LA 70130.
