Impact 100 2023

On Monday, November 13, 2023, Impact 100, an initiative of the Greater New Orleans Foundation, awarded its $100,000 transformative grant to local nonprofit Split Second Foundation. Impact 100, now in its 11th year, is a group of over 100 local women who committed to giving $1,100 each for the purpose of making a single transformative grant to a local nonprofit. Recipient nonprofits use the grant to deepen their impact and grow their network of supporters. Since its inaugural year, Impact 100, sponsored by Villere & Co., has granted more than $1.3 million to nonprofits across our region.

Foundation Holds 4th Annual Celebration of Black Philanthropy, Achieves Goal of Distributing $3M in Grants to Black-Led Nonprofits

As we round out the end of Black History Month, the Greater New Orleans Foundation (Foundation) is looking back at our fourth annual Celebration of Black Philanthropy that was held on February 7. At the Celebration, the Foundation proudly announced that we have achieved our goal of distributing $3 million to Black-led nonprofits through our Greater Together Fund for Racial Equity. Launched in 2020, the Greater Together Fund for Racial Equity awards funding to Black-led organizations leading the fight for racial justice in our region and working to build wealth in the African American community.
